Hi everyone…

I am a fully certified Pilates teacher from Italy and a mum of a funny, beautiful loving little girl!
I have been living and working in Holland for three years and I love the energy, the honesty, the great focus and dedication of my Dutch clients…

My goal while teaching Pilates is to help people to become aware of what they feel in their bodies, focusing on their breath and on the flow of movement.

Pilates method doesn’t only teach people to become strong, it also gives the opportunity to learn how to be sensitive to one’s body and to ourselves generally.

What Is Pilates ?

Pilates method is a complex training system developed at the beginning of the XX century by creator, Joseph H. Pilates, who was born in Germany in 1880.
As a boy, Pilates suffered from rickets. He was weak and had very poor health. For this reason, he came up with various sports like boxing, body building, skiing, martial arts to improve both muscle strength and his immune system, which produced amazing effects on his health.

Joseph turned his weakness into his greatest strength. He dedicated his whole life to gymnastics and physical activity. It became his mission; he became deeply committed to teaching his own methodology to all kinds of people, well trained or not, and he became a great athlete in general.

Why do Pilates?

Anyone can approach the Pilates technique, at all levels of fitness and all ages.

It is a method not based on competition but on actively listening to the body. Through Pilates exercises you learn:

– to deeply respect yourself and your physical limits.

– at the same time you will focus on the muscle strengthening and stretching activities with energy and endurance; the goal is to create more freedom in the joints and more power in the muscular structure to maintain or rebuild a healthy and active body.

– this technique is an excellent system of rehabilitation
